Agricultural Program

Goal: $30,000

Raised: $3,400

Progress: 10 %

Our Agricultural & Farming Program helps provide food, skills, and sustainability for the orphanage. By raising goats 🐐 and sheep, we ensure the children have nutritious meals, while surplus livestock is sold to generate income for the home’s needs.

Alongside this, we cultivate staple crops like yams, cassava, and maize. These harvests reduce reliance on external donations and, when abundant, are shared or sold within the Bawjiase community, strengthening local ties.

Our farms produce staple crops such as yams, cassava, and maize—essential foods that help sustain the orphanage and reduce reliance on external donations. Extra harvests are shared or sold within the community, strengthening relationships and encouraging mutual support.

Beyond meeting daily needs, the program also serves as a learning opportunity. Children participate in planting, harvesting, and caring for animals, gaining practical skills in responsibility, teamwork, and self-reliance.

With continued support, we plan to expand into poultry, vegetables, and improved storage, creating even more opportunities for growth and independence.

Every crop harvested and every animal raised brings the children one step closer to a brighter, self-sufficient future.
